Two siblings share a ski-lift, but their playful conversation masks a painful truth .
This film was made as part of the Misty Flicks Film Festival, Te Awamutu, New Zealand. The Misty Flicks Challenge was a short film competition within the festival, for entries less than10 minutes, made especially for the Challenge and featuring these compulsory elements: an ice cream, and a character called 'Sloane'.
It was made on location at the Mount Hutt Ski Field, in Canterbury, New Zealand. We were very fortunate to have Shalom BK compose and perform the original score for the film.
We were very happy to receive Best Actor for Alex, and Best Director at The Misty Flicks Challenge 2025.
